Yoga is by far my favourite way to move my body – it just feels good! Yoga, which is based upon ancient Eastern practices, comes in many forms, each of which has its own unique benefits. At the heart of yoga are three main concepts: asanas – the physical postures, pranayama – breathing and breath control, and dhyana – meditation or an absorbed state of mind. Each morning I practice a mixture of Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga as soon as I wake up. Yoga is good for almost all ailments or problems, including back pain, arthritis, insomnia, depression/anxiety, stress, muscle soreness, poor posture and much more.
