Green smoothies are somewhat of a trend at the moment, it seems like every man and his dog are drinking them. Green smoothies are a simple, quick and nutritious way to add more green veggies to your diet. This smoothie is my basic smoothie that I have in the mornings when I feel like liquid goodness or if I am running short on time. All you need to do in preparation is freeze a banana the night before (peel and chop it up first, then freeze).
Simple Green Smoothie
1 banana, frozen in chunks
A large handful of baby spinach leaves
Almond milk or water
A pinch of cinnamon
Put all in blender and blend until smooth and creamy, add more water if it is too thick. Enjoy!
