‘Superballs’, being superfood or protein balls are amazingly easy to make, tasty and good for you. Basically you take your blender, throw in a mish-mash healthy ingredients, blend, roll into bite size balls, refrigerate and enjoy! Of course there are ones you can buy in health food stores, which are fantastic if you are in a hurry or find yourself struck down by hunger, but nothing beats homemade food, especially when you can personalise it to your tastebuds desires. There are literally one million and one different variations of the ‘superballs’ in the health, fitness and food blogosphere, including brownie, cookie dough and chocolate variations, so I thought I would give you just a little taste of the super balls.
