Yummy Porridge Breakfast

As any good gluten-free citizen is aware, oats are a bit dangerous in terms of contamination and so a gluten-free diet is usually free of oats and oat products (see Gluten Free Grains). I am very pleased to let you know there is alternatives, and yesterday I tried for the first time gluten free rice porridge…It was DELICIOUS. It’s the perfect winter warming breakfast for those of us down in the Southern Hemisphere during winter. It was simple to make, looked like oats and tasted great. I used Lowan’s Rice Porridge with Orchard Fruits (an Australian Brand) and added a few things in before eating.

All I did was add 1 cup of porridge to 1 cup of almond milk and 1/2 cup milk, bring to boil and simmer for 12 minutes, let stand for one minute and added blueberries, a drizzle of natural honey and cinnamon. Here’s the final product:
